Creative |  Part Two

Rediscovering your own creative voice, after spending a career helping clients find theirs.

Hi, I’m Joanna Fallon. After 15+ years freelancing as a graphic designer, I hit my 40s and realised I’d got caught up in #girlboss culture, without much to show for it other than feeling burnt out, inauthentic and far away from the creative life I’d always envisioned living.

So I’m hitting the reset button

Having been immersed in the predominantly entrepreneurial and marketing led-worlds filled with pink blazers, 10X-ing, and polished beige blandness, I’m on a mission to rediscover my own creative voice after years of helping clients find theirs.

And maybe you want to do the same.

Maybe you’re a creative (doesn’t have to be your career) who feels secure but dissatisfied in your work, and fear you’re losing yourself to buzzwords and bottom-lines.

Maybe you’ve reached your 40s and started re-examining your life in a way like never before, and some uncomfortable truths are coming up that you can no longer ignore.

Or maybe you’ve just reached a point where you’ve stopped giving a shit about what other people think, and realised you have to live your life for yourself (but would like a bit of moral support please as you’ve very much given a shit about what other people think up to this point and this new path is actually a little scary, thank you).

This is about re-embracing playful creativity in midlife, and remembering that before viewing your creativity as a commodity, it was a part of who you are.

Let's find that person again, for part two of our lives.

(Whilst the website gets built, I’ll be sharing more about this over on Substack)
